ANGLICAN CHAPLAINCY OF ST. GEORGE, MÁLAGA

MISSION AT VILLANUEVA DE TAPIA

Church on the move

ANGLICAN WORSHIP (Chaplaincy of St George, Málaga)

The Church of England congregation from Villanueva de Tapia, has just moved their meeting place.  The congregation – part of the Anglican Chaplaincy of St George, Malaga, has moved south a few Km’s and now meet at the Roman Catholic chapel in Salinas. Come and join us for the Eucharist and a coffee, a drink or early lunch at Manolo’s after the service.

A choral service of Holy Communion is celebrated at 10.45 am on the second and fourth Saturdays. Salinas village is about 10 minutes drive from both Loja and Archidona on the A333 just off the Granada-Málaga motorway just south of Junction 175 on the A92 and 1 km North of Junction 1 on the A92M.

The move is planned to make regular worship more accessible for those living along the A92 corridor in Huetor Tajar, Loja, Vva de Trabuco, Vva de Rosario, Archidona and Antequera all of which are less than 20 mins from the chapel.

The congregation has an excellent choir, La Vid & La Vida (who had another successful concert in Iznájar last week), which supports all the services and occasionally leads worship at special choral services – the next two of which will be a Harvest Choral Evensong on Friday 22 October, and a Carol Service on Wednesday 15 December, both at 1930.

The friendly congregation of 14 – 20 regular worshippers is always delighted to welcome residents and visitors alike at any of our services and to join us for coffee or something stronger afterwards.

If you would like more information email Tapia@stgeorgemalaga.org, or come along on September 11 or 25 to try us out.
